Dr. Anton Starovoytov is an Associate Professor at the International Scientific and Educational Center for Physics of Nanostructures and a Senior Researcher at the Surface Photophysics Laboratory at ITMO University.

He graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics, and Optics in 2008, specializing in Laser Technology. Since 2006, he has been actively involved in research at the International Scientific and Educational Center for Physics of Nanostructures and started teaching in 2010. In 2011, he defended his dissertation in the field of Optics and obtained the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (PhD).

Prof. Starovoytov has received training and professional development at ITMO University, Boston University (Massachusetts, USA), University of Jyvaskyla (Jyvaskyla, Finland), and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Moscow, Russia).

He has been recognized for his contributions as a young scientist, winning competitions held by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, receiving a scholarship from the President of the Russian Federation, and winning grants from the Government of St. Petersburg. He was also awarded a medal and certificate for the best report at the international conference "Fundamentals of Laser Assisted Micro- and Nanotechnologies."

His research interests include absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy of organic dyes on nanostructured materials, as well as the optical properties of organic molecules in the presence of plasmonic resonance of metal nanoparticles.

Prof. Starovoytov has authored numerous publications in Russian and international journals and serves as a reviewer for journals such as "Nanoscale Advances," "RSC Advances," "Optical and Quantum Electrоnics," and others.
